Framingham – The American Cancer Society's Spin for Hope, a three-hour indoor cycling fund-raising event, has a new name: Pedal to End Cancer. The event is scheduled Sunday, March 4, 2013 at participating health clubs throughout New England.
Since Pedal to End Cancer started in New England in 2005, more than $2.2 million has been raised for the fight against cancer.? What started with six clubs raising $100,000 grew to more than 60 clubs, raising nearly $400,000 in 2012.
The new name is the only major change to the event for 2013. As in years past, the funds raised will support the life-saving mission of the American Cancer Society.
