Region – Here are the Community Advocate's top six stories for Dec. 2 to Dec. 9:

1. Heartless thieves broke into a shed at St. Anne's church in Shrewsbury on Wednesday and stole nearly 100 toys earmarked for kids in need.


2. Could Westborough become an established, respected place to make movies? If a developer's plans for a major complex at the site of the former Westborough State Hospital are approved, it may very well happen.
