Shrewsbury – Former Secretary of State and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Dr. Madeleine Albright will visit Saint John's High School in January to address students, faculty, and guests as part of the Abdella Center for Ethics Lecture Series.

Her talk, titled “The Courage to Listen,” will share her concerns regarding the breakdown of civility in the current discourse and dialogue, according to a press release from the school. She will discuss ways to restore international discourse to assist in critical decision-making processes in the years ahead. Following the lecture, she will host a question and answer session with the students.

The lecture will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 7 p.m. at the school, 378 Main St., Shrewsbury. The event is open to the public but pre-registration is required. For more information go to www.stjohnshigh.org.
