Shrewsbury police arrest two for larceny, drugs and firearms

Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Police Department released this statement this morning:

On December 11th, 2012 (Tuesday) at 1:20 A.M. Shrewsbury Officers David Faucher and Officer Patrick Robert observed a motor vehicle in the Shrewsbury Green Apartments with two rims and tires missing. The Officers investigated further and discovered a motor vehicle running nearby with its doors open. Officers did a search of the parking lot and discovered two suspects hiding from the Police. As a result of their investigation the two were arrested and charged with the larceny of the tires and rims and damaging the vehicles.

As a result of the arrests a further investigation was conducted with the Officers and Shrewsbury Police Detective bureau which resulted in a search warrant being executed. Shrewsbury Police discovered narcotics, firearms and stolen property.

ARRESTED: Justin A Wogan, # 352 Grafton St., Shrewsbury, Ma – 23 years old

Charges- Larceny Over $250, Defacing/Damaging Property, Poss. Large Capacity Firearm, Poss. of Firearm/Ammunition, Poss. Of Large Capacity (3 Counts), Receiving Stolen Property over $250, Poss. Of Firearm w/out FID Card(3 counts), Poss. of Silencer, Poss. Firearm with Defaced Serial Number, Poss. Class A, Poss. Class B, Poss. Class C, Poss. Class D w/intent to Distribute, Poss. Class E.

ARRESTED: Christian G. Castro, #2 Flagg St., Worcester, Ma- 22 years old

Charges- Larceny Over $250, Defacing/Damaging Property

Both Defendants were arraigned at Westboro District Court December 12th, 2012. (Wednesday).
