Marlborough – The Hillside School in Marlborough recently held a “Spirit Day” to benefit the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce Food Drive.

Students and faculty paid $2.00 for the opportunity to “dress down” for the day. The school raised a total of $276.00 and also collected 131 food items for the chamber’s campaign.

Students, along with their school advisors, dropped off their donations to the Doubletree Hotel on Friday, Dec. 14, where they were also given a tour of the hotel by Henry Tessman, the director of sales and marketing. Tessman is also the chair of the chamber’s board of directors.
