Caroling on Shrewsbury Common this Sunday

Shrewsbury – The 12th annual Caroling on the Common event will be held Sunday, Dec. 23, starting at 7 p.m., on the Shrewsbury Common at Route 140 and Main Street. Share in this townwide tradition of carols and camaraderie with song sheets in one hand and hot chocolate in the other.

The Worcester Brass Consort, made possible by the “Arts on the Green” concert series and music committee of the First Congregational Church, will accompany carolers. Also, song sheets and hot chocolate will be provided. Carolers should bring flashlights and are asked to toiletry items for area families in need.

In the event of severe rain or snow, Caroling on the Common will still be held indoors at the nearby First Congregational Church, 19 Church Rd.
