Algonquin boys” basketball remains undefeated

Northborough – Undefeated Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) played host to Midland A rival Shrewsbury High School (SHS) on Jan. 4 in Northborough for their league opener. ?ARHS got out to a big lead early; SHS wasn’t able to score until 1:27 remaining in the first period when the score was 13-2 in ARHS's favor. ?ARHS continued to dominate, leading 31-21 at the half.

In the second half, SHS battled closer, but was never able to take the lead. ARHS won the match-up, 59-48, to remain undefeated at 6-0, 1-0 while SHS fell to 4-4, 0-2.? (Photos/Chris Wraight)
