Algonquin girls’ gymnastics continues winning ways

Northborough – Two-time defending state gymnastics champions Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) hosted Shrewsbury High School (SHS) and Hudson High School (HHS) for a tri-meet Jan. 5 in Northborough.  ARHS’s Alissa Wood won the all-around with a score of 37.5 points (9.3 on vault, 9.5 on bars, 9.2 on beam, and 9.5 on floor), helping to propel ARHS over both SHS (141.85 to 137.35) and HHS 141.85 to 130.95 as ARHS swept the meet to go 3-0.
