Northborough Girl Scouts collecting school supplies

northboroNorthborough – Three local Girl Scout scouts are hoping to help children in need start the New Year off right.

Ruth Ricciuti, Gabriella Thompson, and Isabella Masciarelli, all members of Troop 30484, will be collecting new school supplies, as well as gently used books, as part of their Silver Award Project.

The girls have set up collection boxes in the in the lobbies at each of the four Northborough elementary schools. They are collecting the items up until Jan. 18 and then will donate them to children in Worcester. For more information call Eva Thompson at 508-351-9159 or email evathompson@charter.net.
