Westborough high-schoolers show ‘poise’ in mock trial

Letter to the Editor,

A Mock Trial was held recently in the Forbes Building featuring members of the present Senior Class under the supervision of teachers Mr. Belbin and Ms. Nancy Power. As a Juror, I was so impressed with the integrity and grit of our students.

The students were professional, poised and polished. We could feel the tension and energy in the courtroom. Everybody was on task and so well prepared. I had to remind myself that these were seniors in high school and not law school.

If this was a snippet of the student body of Westborough High School, we should all be proud.
