Marlborough girls win close match over Algonquin

Marlborough – Marlborough High School (MHS) hosted Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) for a non-league matchup Jan. 25 in Marlborough. ?ARHS got out to an early lead but the first half ended in a 25-25 tie.? ?MHS battled back and took the lead with 3:22 left in the fourth period. ?The lead continued to jockey back and forth until with just ten seconds left, MHS pulled ahead, 45 to 44. ?After ARHS turned over their last possession, Marlborough held on to win the game, 46-44.
