Southborough police log, Feb. 1 edition

Friday, Jan. 18

6:30 a.m. Officers investigated a report of a “Hit and Run” accident on Oak Hill Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.

10:42 a.m. Officers investigated a report of vandalism to the field on Kallander Drive. The field was damaged after an unknown vehicle drove over and ripped up the grassy area.

11:15 a.m. Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Valley Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.

11:32 a.m. Officers served a Harassment Prevention Order to an Oak Hill Road resident.

5:17 p.m. An officer assisted a Bridge Street resident with a domestic issue.

8:38 p.m. Officers investigated a report of a suspicious motor vehicle parked at the 911 Memorial Field. The responding officer reported back that the operator was waiting for a friend at the field.

Saturday, Jan. 19

1:23 a.m. Arrested, Shawn Feehan of Chapin Street, Northborough. Mr. Feehan was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicating liquor (OUI alcohol).

8:33 a.m. Officers investigated a report of an erratic operator on Pine Hill Road. The vehicle had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.

12:47 p.m. Officers investigated a possible larceny from a Central Street business. The customer was contacted and the situation was resolved without charges filed.

3:09 p.m. A Cordaville Road resident reported a suspicious male had taken a picture of her license plate. An officer responded and took a report of the incident.

6:37 p.m. Officers assisted a Sears Road resident with a domestic issue.

Sunday, Jan. 20

1:01 a.m. A resident of Ted Lane reported that they believed someone had just put something in their mailbox. An officer responded and checked the mailbox for the resident. Everything checked out ok.

10:45 a.m. A medical was reported at a 24 Newton Street business.

11:19 a.m. A medical was reported at a Pearl Street residence.

12:23 p.m. A medical was reported at a General Henry Knox Road residence.

1:54 p.m. Officers investigated a report of a Hit and Run accident on Oak Hill Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.

Monday, Jan. 21

7:39 a.m. Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Marlboro Road by Acre Bridge Road. Injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.

8:16 a.m. Officers investigated a report of possible threats at a Turnpike Road residence. The responding officer reported back that everything checked out ok.

10:10 a.m. A medical was reported at a Pine Hill Road residence.

2:06 p.m. Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. There was a report of injuries at the scene of the accident.

4:38 p.m. A Southwood Drive resident reported that they were the victim of an Identity Theft. An officer responded and took a report of the incident.

6:59 p.m. A Blendon Woods resident was taken into protective custody after officers responded and investigated a report of a possible theft in the area of Blendon Woods.

8:58 p.m. Officers investigated a report of two males attempting to break into motor vehicles on Walnut Drive. A resident reportedly chased the two suspects from the area, prior to the responding officer’s arrival to the scene. State Police responded and checked the area with a K9 officer, but were unable to locate the two suspects.

The information from the police log is obtained directly from the official records maintained at each police station in our circulation area. It contains arrests and samplings of police activity. Those arrested are innocent until proven guilty. The Community Advocate will publish news of acquittals upon notification and a copy of court-issued documentation.
