Westborough – Julio's Liquors will be hosting a “Go Whisk(e)y Weekend,” Friday, Feb. 22 to Sunday, Feb. 24 at its store located at 140 Turnpike Road, Westborough.
Highlights will include a Whiskey Dinner featuring John Glaser from Compass Box at The International in Bolton; a Scottish Breakfast; a variety of free seminars; and a Meet and Greet, where patrons can dine on hors d’oeuvres, sip and discuss whiskey in an intimate setting. The finale includes a free event, The Grand Dram, which will feature over 250 whiskey varieties for patrons to taste.
Ryan Maloney, owner of Julio's Liquors, explained the idea behind the weekend.
“We believe that whiskey is something meant to be enjoyed and discussed, like fine wine. We'se excited to introduce this ideology in a fun and accessible way,” he said.
