Three MHS students named to perform in All-State Music Concert

Marlborough- Three Marlborough High School students have been selected to participate in the 2012-13 All-State Music Concert in Boston.

Alessandra Russo (alto, chorus), Nicholas Dell-Isola (tenor, chorus) and Christopher Syers (trombone, band) will be performing with 500 of the most talented student musicians from across the state.  These outstanding musicians will take center stage at Boston Symphony Hall Tuesday, March 2.

These students achieve the status of “Symphony Hall Scholar” by going through two very rigorous auditions. The first is at the district level, where more than 4,000 students compete. If chosen, the students next move onto the All -State audition where they compete against 1,000 of their peers.
