Algonquin defeats Leominster in boys’ basketball

 

Algonquin Regional High School's AJ Brodeur (#25, ball) has an easy layup against the defense of Leominster High School's Jarell Addo (#21, right) and Garrett DelleChiaie (#20, left).

Northborough – Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) hosted Leominster High School for a Midland A league boys’ basketball match up Feb. 7 in Northborough.  

Algonquin was 8-1 while LHS was 1-8 going into the game but LHS played hard and the first half ended with ARHS up only 32-28. In the second half, LHS continued to press and came within three points of tying but the Tomahawks pulled it out to win 52-46.
