Region - Residents around the region are reporting up to 28″ to 30″ of snow thus far as the storm continues to batter Massachusetts. We’ll be reporting any new updates throughout the weekend. Update from the Westborough Police Department -

State of Emergency still in effect at this time. DO NOT DRIVE unless an emergency exists. Extremely dangerous driving. If able to walk, the BP convenience store on Milk St. and 7-11 on South St. are open. Also Dunkin Donuts both east and west bound on Rte. 9 is open. The town’s emergency operation center will be conducting a meeting at 9:30 AM.

From Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) – As of 8AM (2/9) outages in MA (rounded): NGRID 164K, NSTAR239K, Total 403K generally southeast portion of state.

Logan Airport – closed.

MBTA – suspended service until further notice. 

NWS Taunton Skywarn ‏- Southborough, MA: 25.5″ and a peak wind gust of 41 MPH at 31 AM.
