Marlborough Police alert residents about recent B&Es

Marlborough – The Marlborough Police Department has released a statement about recent breaking and enterings in the city:

There have been three recent house breaks in the West Hill Rd./Berlin Rd. area of Marlborough, and one in the east/central area of the city. We are asking the public to be vigilant and to immediately report any suspicious activity or persons that are observed in your neighborhoods.

Surrounding towns have been experiencing a rash of midday house breaks in recent months, and at least two of the recent house breaks in the west end of Marlborough also occurred midday. We do not know at this point if there is any connection between these house breaks, but we are asking for the public’s help in reporting any suspicious vehicles or persons in any residential areas at any time of the day, but particularly during the midday hours.

If you do see anything in your neighborhood that causes concern or suspicion, please call the Marlborough Police Department immediately at 508-485-1212, or dial 911 if it is an emergency situation.
