I'm very disappointed that the Advocate would publish such a degrading pictorial of Athletic Director Jason Costa while he has worked his tail off to make Shrewsbury Athletics his life and a huge success. I'd expect this from The Lantern but not The Advocate. Mr. Costa has had an Athletic Boosters Club having to subsidize his miniscule budget which has helped every single athlete who has worn a uniform, played with a ball, puck, oar, track & field equipment, pool, etc, etc, etc. As well as Mr. Costa's ridiculous budget is the budget that the town allows for the teachers of education to our children as well as the firefighters, police officers and town workers. It's about high time that the good ole' boys and girls of Shrewsbury step up and pay taxes so we can make our town as successful as the ones that we compete with academically, musically, in the arts and athletically.
