Westborough police warn of unauthorized phone solicitations

Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this morning:

The Westborough Police Department has received a complaint that an organization supposedly representing Volunteer Firefighters is conducting a phone solicitation. This is a private telemarketer who does not share their proceeds with any Firefighters. They are connected to VolunteerFiremanonline.com.

If any resident receives a call from this organization, please notify the Westborough Police Dept., 508-366- 3060 or the Westborough Fire Dept. 508-366-3040.
