Mini photo shoots to benefit sixth backpack drive

Northborough- The Northborough Moms and Tots and Northborough Helping Hands Association, Inc. have announced that they are hosting a mini photo shoot fundraiser to benefit the two organizations’ sixth annual Backpack Drive.

Two local photographers will be working with the groups this year. Those interested in participating should contact the individual photographer directly to set up an appointment.

There will be a $50 sitting fee, of which $25 will be donated to the backpack drive. Purchasing options include $25 for 25 digital images of your choice or $50 for a full CD of digital images (approximately 50 to 75 images). Prints and editing add-ons will also be available at a discounted rate directly from the website gallery.

Jennifer MacNeil of Jennifer MacNeil Photography (www.jennifermacneilphotography.com) is offering 25-minute time slots Saturday, March 9, (2  to 4:30 p.m.) and Sunday, March 10, (9 to  11:30 a.m.) at Dean Park in Shrewsbury. She will also offer slots Sunday, March 17, and Saturday, April 6, (9 to 11:30 a.m.) and Sunday, April 7, (3 to 5:30 p.m.)   at the Wayside Inn Grist Mill in Sudbury.

Nicole LeBlanc of Le Petite Studio Photography (http://lepetitestudio.com), is offering her time and talent for this effort for a second year in a row.  She is offering slots Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Northborough Backpack Drive donates backpacks filled with school supplies to students in need in the Northborough public schools in grades kindergarten through grade 12. In 2012, 135 backpacks were donated through this project.
