Working up healthy appetite

Shrewsbury – Kindergartner Nate Quinn-Nardella climbs the rock wall while attending the Get Fit Family Adventure, held March 1 at Coolidge Elementary School. After working up an appetite playing gym games, children sampled healthy snacks including pumpkin mousse, carrot cupcakes and air-popped popcorn. Family fitness events are being offered in Shrewsbury schools thanks to a $1.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
