Marlborough – The Assabet Valley Regional Technical varsity baseball team won the Southbridge Invitational tournament during April vacation.  The team defeated Nantucket 3-2 and then, later in the week, a feisty North High team 5-2 in extra innings. The coaches are very proud of the group.

“They certainly earned the hardware,” reported John Silk, varsity coach. Silk is assisted by Marty Henry and Tom Martinelli.
