Local students earn honors at WPI

wpi_logoAt Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), the following local residents were recently named Charles O. Thompson Scholars for the 2012-2013 academic year: Ryan Lang, of Northborough, a first-year student majoring in engineering and Zhuohao Ling, of Northborough, a first-year student majoring in chemical engineering

Named in honor of the first president of WPI, this honor recognizes outstanding performance by first-year students. To be eligible for membership, students must receive all A's and B's (with a minimum of six A's) in their academic subjects during their first three terms at WPI.
