Westborough to be part of ‘Plant Something Day’

flowers_Westborough – The Mass. Flower Growers Association and the Mass. Landscape and Nursery Association have designated Wednesday, May 15 as “Plant Something Day” throughout the state.

In Westborough, several groups have joined in on the initiative to help brighten up the town. The Westborough Garden Club will be planting items around the town’s veterans’ memorials, as well as at the downtown rotary.

Hi Hill Farm is donating individual plants for the children at the Miss Tanya’s Nursery School. Wishing Wells Perennials is also donating a shrub to the school.

Residents and businesses are urged to join the event as well, by planting items to help beautify their individual spaces.
