Hudson – First Federated Church of Hudson announced the ordination of Associate Pastor Virginia Gray into the Christian ministry through the American Baptist Churches.

The Service of Ordination will be held at First Federated Church, 200 Central St., Hudson, Sunday, June 9, at 3 p.m., followed by a reception. Denominational leaders, members of the Gordon-Conwell faculty, and clergy and representatives from area churches will be in attendance. Anyone from a local church or the community with an interest in this very special event is also invited to attend.

Dr. Gray holds a Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where, as a Byington Scholar, she also researched scripture and tutored students in biblical Greek. In 2009, Dr. Gray was awarded a Certificate of International Mission and Ecumenism from the Boston Theological Institute.
