New Westborough mobile app released

Westborough-icon-for-CA-web-pageWestborough – The town of Westborough is now offering a new mobile app, Commonwealth Connect by SeeClickFix, that streamlines the process of reporting non-emergency infrastructure problems, such as potholes.

Smartphone users can use their GPS to enter the address of a problem and take a photo. Residents can also report through the web-based application available on the town’s website,  http://www.town.westborough.ma.us.

Town departments benefit by having the photo clearly document the area of concern. Currently there are two categories, “potholes” and “other.”  Officials said additional categories will be added at a later date.

Residents may download the free mobile app, at http://seeclickfix.com/apps or by visiting the iPhone App Store or Android Market.
