St. Mary’s Credit Union to celebrate grand opening of Westborough branch July 9

BB-St.-Marys-new-W-branch-300x225Westborough – St. Mary’s Credit Union will hold a ceremonial ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, July 9th beginning at 5 p.m. to formally open its newest branch located at 96 Turnpike Road, Westborough.  The site, formerly a Friendly’s Restaurant, has been transformed into a full-service banking facility.

The branch opened for business several weeks ago, and according to Jim Petkewich, vice president of the credit union’s Retail Services, “We love this location.  Already we’ve seen a lot of new members and opened several new accounts.”

“The credit union’s newest branch is located at the intersection of Routes 9 and 30 and provides a highly visible presence for us,” said Marketing Vice President Tony Battista.  “This location is especially convenient for people and businesses that bank with us from the communities of Westborough, Southborough and Grafton.”

Participating in the ceremony will be members of St. Mary’s Credit Union’s Board of Directors and management as well as representatives from the town of Westborough and the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce.

Due to limited parking at the branch, additional parking is available at the Hastings Elementary School (111 East Main St.) and shuttle transportation will be available starting at 4:30 p.m.
