Shrewsbury couple donate son's motorcycle to raise funds for cancer organization

August 29th, 2013

Shrewsbury – After Shrewsbury resident Scott Zenaro died at the much too young age of 36, no one would have blamed his parents, Ron and Carol, if they decided to hold onto their son's beloved custom-built motorcycle for sentimental reasons. Instead, the couple have decided to let go of the bike via a special raffle which will benefit an organization very dear to their hearts – the Lazarex Cancer Foundation – which they credit with helping to prolong their son's life after he was diagnosed with end stage Ewing's sarcoma.

Although he was disabled, Scott lived a very full life, Ron said, working alongside him at his two stores, RAYCO Car Electronics in Shrewsbury and Auburn. Scott loved cars, motorcycles, snowmobiling, water skiing, playing golf, and playing the drums.
