Help wanted for Shrewsbury fall festival

Shrewsbury – The Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival will be held the weekend of Sept. 27-29 at Oak Middle School. Organizers are seeking volunteers to make one of the biggest events in Massachusetts a continued success. No experience is needed; training is provided.?For more information, visit www.spiritofshrewsbury.com.

To volunteer, obtain applications or register for the craft fair, contact Shilpa Deochakke at 978-937-9522 or sdeochakke@yahoo.com. Ten- by six-feet display areas for unique handmade items are $40; $80 for double booth space. Deadline for registration is Sunday, Sept. 15.

To volunteer or register for the Oak Street Expo, showcasing nonprofits, commercial and home-based businesses, contact Sabina Terrades at 508-845-5032 or sterrades@hotmail.com.

Business registration is $125; nonprofits, free.

To purchase banners or become a sponsor, contact Melissa Montana at 774-641-6362 or mmontana600@yahoo.com. Full sponsorship is $1,200; deadline Thursday, Aug. 1. Pole banners are $400 for businesses; $250 nonprofit, family or memorial. Deadline Thursday, Aug. 15.
