Obit Joseph F. MannarinoWestborough – Joseph F. Mannarino, 55, of Westborough, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Tufts New England Medical Center. He was the husband of Karen T. Luke-Mannarino.

Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Corinne (Belloli) Mannarino, and was a graduate of Framingham South High School and of Clark University.

Joseph has spent his entire career in energy conservation and has been a Senior Technical Consultant for National Grid for the past 26 years.

He was a member of the Association of Facilities Engineering, Worcester Chapter 74 where he was a Group Director AFE Region 8 and has served on the Board of Directors as both President and Vice President.

He was an avid gardener, a gourmet cook, enjoyed woodworking, boating, swimming and diving. He was a 15-year cancer survivor. Most importantly, he loved his family and was a proud father and devoted husband for 25 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children, Caitlin L. Mannarino of Westborough, Luke J. Mannarino of Boston, Heather N. Mannarino of Westborough, and Heidi K. Mannarino of Westborough; two brothers, Guy Mannarino and his wife Lola of Houston, Texas and Frank Mannarino and his wife Lauren of Medway; one sister, Corinne Logue and her husband Steve of Framingham; and a brother-in-law, Bob Luke and his wife Judy Willinger of New York, N.Y.

A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, August 5, at 11 a.m., in Pine Grove Cemetery, South Street in Westborough. Burial will follow. Calling hours at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Sunday, August 4, from 2 to 5 p.m.
