Cultural Council seeks artists and volunteers for festival

Westborough – The Westborough Cultural Council is hard at work organizing the fifth annual Arts in Common festival, to be held on the green at Bay State Commons, Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The festival features not only performing arts, but artists, artisans and chefs as well. Five years ago, as the Bay State Commons was being completed, members of the Cultural Council saw the new green space as a gathering place for a community arts festival that would showcase cultural diversity. Thanks to the vision and generosity of sponsors, advertisers, performers and artists, the first Arts in Common festival was a huge success, and has continued to grow.

The Westborough Cultural Council continues to seek out performers, artists, artisans, and volunteers to help coordinate activities. For more information and forms, visit westboroughculturalcouncil.org.
