Job seekers workshop

Shrewsbury – The Work Initiative Network (WIN) will hold a meeting Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St. Greg Page, CEO and co-founder of Merrimack Analysis Group, will give a presentation that will include the latest about the ways human resources officers are searching for people online, how job candidates can best present themselves, along with information about how to stay safe from identity theft scams that target job seekers.

WIN meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. All job seekers, folks in career transitions, and anyone interested in networking with other job seekers is welcome to attend these meetings. Professional speakers and career coaches are invited to address participants and give tips on various aspects of job search. To register for the workshop, visit www.shrewsbury-ma.gov/library.
