Singers and musicians wanted for cabaret

Hudson/Marlborough – The River's Edge Players announced that auditions will be held for “Hometown Harmonies: A Cabaret,” Thursday, Aug. 29 and Friday, Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. at Hudson Town Hall, 78 Main St.

The cabaret will feature a wide variety of music from pop to Broadway all within the theme of “hometown,” with songs about home, childhood, coming home, leaving home and others. Those who love to sing, play an instrument, or both, and have a song that fits into the theme, are welcome to audition.

Performers should come prepared with 16 bars of music.?Auditions are open to ages 12 through adult. Performance dates are Oct. 26 and 27. Auditions by appointment are preferred. Please call Lynne or Danielle at 978-562-1646 or email [email protected] to arrange for an appointment.

This community theater production will be directed by Lynne Johnson with music direction by Maureen Bourgeois, both of Hudson.
