Special needs educator to host story time at Tatnuck Bookseller

Dennis-VanasseWestborough – Author Dennis Vanasse will be at Tatnuck Bookseller Sunday, Sept. 22 from 1 – 3 p.m.  to host a story time and sign copies of his books, “I Am Special Too” and “Stand Tall Against Bullying.”

An educator whose passion is working with special needs children, Vanasse’s books address important issues facing students in every classroom. Follow Matthew as he stands up against his bully and tries to put an end to bullying. Then meet Marty, a child with cerebral palsy, who wants everyone to know that he is special, too.

Vanasse is currently the director of the Student Success Center and an adjunct professor at Anna Maria College. In addition, he is a special education department head at South High Community School in Worcester.

Tatnuck Bookseller is located at the Westborough Shopping Center, Route 9 and Lyman Street.I-am-special-too-cover-283x300
