Westborough – Timothy M. Dufficy Jr., passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. He was at home with Carole, the love of his life for 53 years, and his loving children by his side.
Timothy was born Sept. 26, 1938 in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. to Philomena (Brudell) and Timothy M. Dufficy Sr. He graduated from Stepinac High School in 1956, a member of the Stepinac Hall of Fame, and Manhattan College 1960, and attended NYU Graduate School. He served in the U.S.M.C. from 1960 – 66, and was a member of the 1961 USMC OCS Class.
He married Carole J. DiNapoli, the love of his young and old life, June 18, 1960. ?Together, they shared many wonderful moments in New Rochelle, N.Y. and North Salem, N.Y., where they resided for 25 years, and Heritage Hills, N.Y. for 20 years before moving to Westborough in 2010.
Timothy held executive sales and marketing positions with Vick Chemical, Pfizee and Parker Bros. Most recently, he was president of TCD Associates, a sales and marketing consulting firm to the trash and recycling industry.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carole; his devoted son and best friend, Jeffrey, daughter Christine, loving son Sean, caring and fun daughter Hilary; and marvelous grandchildren, Jeffrey, Tim “man,” Allie, Kegan, and Ryan.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m., in St. Joseph's Church, 14 Croton Falls Rd., Croton Falls, N.Y. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. Calling hours at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, N.Y., are Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 3 – 7 p.m. Local arrangements are being handled by the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the “Jay F. Davis” Scholarship Fund, Stepinac High School, 950 Mamoroneck Ave., White Plains, NY, ?in memory of “Joe Duff.”
