Roma Wisniewski, 88

Marlborough – Roma (Peltier) Wisniewski, 88, a lifelong Marlborough resident, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at Wingate at Sudbury. She was the daughter of the late George and Ella (Gamache) Peltier and the wife of the late Francis Wisniewski.

A graduate of Marlborough High School, Roma began her career with New England Telephone and Telegraph Company at the Core Building, Marlborough.Through the years, she worked her way to Line Assignor at the John St., facility, from which she retired. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, loved animals and was a regular at Tilz Restaurant, Northborough.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 10:00 a.m., in the lower chapel at the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. There are no funeral home visiting hours.

Donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Boston, Advancement Department, 10 Chandler St., Boston, MA 02116.
