Holland – Terrance “Terry” McWilliams, 58, died in his home in Holland Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, after an illness. Terry was born May 3, 1955, in Fitchburg, the youngest son of John and Alberta (Daniels) McWilliams.
He is survived by his mother, Alberta (Daniels) McWilliams of Leominster; his brothers, John and his wife Helen of Fitchburg, James and his wife Carol of Shrewsbury, Stephen and his wife Cindy of Fort Myers. FL, and Mark of Fort Lauderdale, FL and his sister-in-law, Joan McWilliams of Fitchburg; his aunt, Dorothy Manceau of Townsend; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, John, in 1986, and a brother, Kevin, in 2001. He also leaves his caregivers, Steve and Gail Turkington of Holland and their family, with whom he lived.
His funeral will be Friday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m., in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St, Shrewsbury, with Reverend Paul O”Connell presiding. Burial will follow in St Bernard's Cemetery in Fitchburg.
Terry's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Steve and Gail Turkington and their family and Terry's extended family at the Department of Developmental Services and Seven Hills Foundation, who all loved and cared for him so much.
