Wellspring United Methodist Church announces Sept. 8 Hope and Healing serviceShrewsbury – Wellspring United Methodist Church will hold a Hope and Healing service Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 440 Main St., Shrewsbury. A free soup and bread meal will be served at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall and the service will start at 7 p.m. in Lawrence Hall.

The service will focus on healing for all struggling with addictions, who are broken and suffering, searching for answers, hope and wholeness. According to national statistics on addiction, somewhere between 20 to 30 percent of the population is currently struggling with addictions.? Many may think that these statistics do not apply to them or their families and friends, but addictions cut right across the board of religion, race, class, occupation, political orientation, and more. Addictions affect almost everyone, either directly or indirectly.

All are invited for this vibrant non-denominational service featuring praise music, prayer, teaching, testimony, and the power of God. A free-will offering will be accepted, with all proceeds going to Wellspring's Project Abundant Life.

Wellspring United Methodist Church is a growing community of faith serving Shrewsbury, Northborough and the surrounding area.?
