Westborough High School to honor Hall of Fame inductees

Westborough large web iconWestborough – The Westborough High School Department of Athletics announced eight 2013 inductees into the Westborough High School Athletic Hall of Fame. These outstanding individuals and team will be honored at a brunch induction ceremony followed by special recognition at half-time of the Westborough varsity football game Saturday, Oct. 26.

Those being inducted are: Joseph (Ducky) Nava, 1948- Football, Basketball, Baseball; Jan Gebo, 1966- Football, Baseball, Coach; 1969 Boys Cross Country Team- Undefeated Season; Christopher Deveaux, 1988- Football, Basketball, Baseball; John D. Schaefer, 1991- Football, Basketball, Golf; Jamie (Irwin) McIntosh, 1992- Field Hockey, Track; Kara (Dickman) Tassinari, 2003- Indoor Track, Outdoor Track; and Dr. Gary Peters- Contributor.

The public is encouraged to join in recognizing these honorees at the football game. Game time is 2 p.m. at Mewhinney Field at Westborough High School, 90 W. Main St.
