Annual Gobble Wobble 5K to be held in Southborough

Southborough – Southborough's seventh annual Gobble Wobble, featuring a certified 5K race, two-mile walk, and free kids” fun run, will be held Thursday, Nov. 28, at the Trottier Middle School, 49 Parkerville Road. Registration will begin at 7 a.m., with the race and walk beginning at 8:30 a.m. The kids” fun run will start at 9:30 a.m. for three age groups: 3-4, 5-8, and 9-11. Children must pre-register and have a completed waiver signed by a parent.

For the 5K race, cash prizes will be offered for the top three male and female runners. Preregistration is $25 online at www.eventbrite.com or by walk-in/mail-in to the Southborough Recreation Department, 21 Highland St., Southborough, MA 01772. T-shirts will be given to adult athletes on a first-come, first-served basis.

Seeking Sitters will provide childcare, but space is limited. Pre-registration is required. The cost is $5 per family.

Volunteers are needed. Contact www.friendsofsouthboro.com to volunteer. Participants are asked to bring a donation for U.S. troops or the Southborough Food Pantry.
