Southborough police log, Oct. 11 edition

Thursday, Sept. 26

8:45 a.m. An officer on patrol advised dispatch that someone had struck the median barrier at Turnpike and Crystal Pond Road. Mass Highway was notified of the damage.

1:05 p.m. Officers investigated a report of a suspicious male party walking on Central Street towards Route 9. The responding officer reported back that the individual had left the area.

3:15 p.m. An officer responded to Woodbury Road to investigate a report of a large truck blocking the roadway. The truck had left the area prior to the officer arriving on scene.

5:25 p.m. Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Marlboro Road at the Acre Bridge Road intersection. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.

10:09 p.m. An officer investigated a report of a one car, motor vehicle accident on Framingham Road. The vehicle had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival, and no damage was done to the area.

Friday, Sept. 27

5:30 a.m. A motorist from Jefferson was issued a criminal application for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to inspect motor vehicle.

9:33 a.m. Officers investigated a report of an erratic operator on Framingham Road. The responding officer reported back that the vehicle had left the area.

1:26 p.m. An officer assisted a Southville Road resident with a possible restraining order violation.

2:49 p.m. An officer took a report of a stolen bicycle from the MBTA station parking lot.

4:58 p.m. Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Cordaville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.

5:15 p.m. A hit and run, motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Coslin Drive and Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.

5:41 p.m. Arrested, Emanuel Afonso of Elm Street, Bellingham. Mr. Afonso was arrested on an active arrest warrant for failure to pay fines. He was also issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana.

10:07 p.m. Officers checked the Bigelow Road area after receiving a report of an erratic/aggressive driver in the area. The responding officers reported back negative findings.

11:34 p.m. Arrested, Patrick Galligan of Franklin Street, Framingham. Mr. Galligan was charged with OUI alcohol, speeding, marked lanes violation, and red light violation.

Saturday, Sept. 28

8:30 a.m. A medical was reported at a Fisher Road residence.

9:40 a.m. Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Chestnut Hill Road. Injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.

10:34 a.m. Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Pine Hill Road residence.

4:50 p.m. An officer took a vandalism report from a Meadow Lane resident.

8:07 p.m. Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Newton Street business.

9:42 p.m. A medical was reported at a Fiddleneck Lane residence.

Sunday, Sept. 29

1:36 a.m. Arrested, Roger Poole III, of Southville Road, Southborough. Mr. Poole was charged with OUI alcohol, marked lanes violation.

2:21 a.m. Arrested, Sherri Lajeunesse of Southville Road, Southborough. Mrs. Lajeunesse was charged with domestic assault & battery, after officers responded to the home to investigate a report of a domestic in progress.

5:03 p.m. An officer responded with the Fire Department to investigate a report of a grill fire on Carolyn Terrace.

10:55 p.m. An officer assisted a Latisquama Road resident with a noise complaint issue.

The information from the police log is obtained directly from the official records maintained at each police station in our circulation area. It contains arrests and samplings of police activity. Those arrested are innocent until proven guilty. The Community Advocate will publish news of acquittals upon notification and a copy of court-issued documentation.
