Northborough – The Springfield College softball team recently named Northborough's Taylor Page as a 2013 All-America Scholar Athlete by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
The award was given to nine student-athletes who achieved a 3.50 grade point average or higher during the 2012-13 academic year. The Pride was also named a 2012-13 NFCA All-Academic team. Springfield ranked 26th in the country out of 400-plus Division III softball programs with a team GPA of 3.43.
