The Northborough Food Pantry would like to thank all those who helped make the Scouting for Food drive a success this year.? Every year the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Venture Scouts work together with their adult leaders to organize this drive for the pantry.? This year, they dropped off door hangers to every house in Northborough on Friday, Nov. 1, and picked up bags of donated food the following day.? They brought the stuffed bags to the Town Hall, where together they unpacked the bags, organized the food, stocked the pantry and cleaned up.? This year, thanks to the generosity of the Northborough community, the scouts collected over 9,200 items.? The shelves in the pantry are stocked high with pasta, rice, soup, peanut butter, etc.? This food will go a long way in providing hunger relief to our over 75 families who utilize the pantry every week.

Food donations are accepted year-round and may be left at the Food Pantry located at the bottom floor of the Northborough Town Hall.? Monetary donations may be mailed to the attention of the Northborough Food Pantry at 63 Main Street in Northborough. The Northborough Food Pantry is staffed and run solely by volunteers, allowing us to apply 100 percent of donations directly to serving our families. ?More information about the Northborough Food Pantry can be found on our website at www.nfpantry.org or by visiting us on Facebook.

The clients and volunteers of the Northborough Food Pantry extend a heartfelt thanks to the Northborough community for your support.

Gratefully,

The Northborough Food Pantry Board Members
