Hudson – Lidia M. Leonardo, 71, of Hudson, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Home in Danvers. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Leonardo, in July of this year and her son, Victor M. Leonardo, in September of this year.
Lidia was born and raised in Portugal, daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Medeiros. She had resided in Hudson since the early 1970s after emigrating from Portugal.
She was employed as an assembler for many years by the Hudson Lock Co. in Hudson until her retirement.
Lidia enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She loved preparing special dishes that she shared with family members at all their gatherings. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
Lidia was predeceased by her brother and three sisters and is survived by her many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 30, at 9:00 a.m., in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend a calling hour Saturday, Nov. 30, from 8:00 – 8:45 a.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, prior to the Mass.
