Shrewsbury – Over 150 families donated toys to the Shrewsbury Police Department Patrolman’s Local 426  second annual “Fill the Wagon” to benefit the Toys for Tots program Dec. 7 at the police department’s headquarters.

According to David Faucher, Shrewsbury patrolman and vice president of the union who helped to organize the drive, the event was sponsored in part by Flynn’s Truck Stop, Wicked Good Cookies, Napoli Deli and Patti Faucher Real Estate.

Children enjoyed snacks, hot chocolate and of course, the chance to share their wish lists with Santa Claus.
