Marlborough – Sonia R. Hanna, 41, of Marlborough, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 at her home. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Priscilla (Dunn) Hanna of Framingham and Carlos Caraballo of Franklin.
A homemaker, Sonia had a loving and giving nature. Besides her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Shanniely Pitre of Marlborough and Rochelle Rodriguez of Hudson; her lifetime companion, Marcio Almeda of Marlborough; her sisters, MaryEllen Riley of Franklin, Sonia Rodriguez of Worcester, Roberta Hanna of Marlborough, Aurora Carballo of Franklin, and Caroline Marques of Florida; and her grandchildren, Lani and Levi. She was also the sister of the late Christopher Hanna.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., followed by Words of Remembrance, at the Slattery Funeral Home, 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. Burial will follow at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Grove Street, Framingham.
