Shrewsbury – Sarah Weagle, a Shrewsbury High School (SHS) senior is pictured with her work, ?”Drifters 1″ at the Dec.14 opening of the SHS art show currently being held at Shrewsbury Crossings. Sarah currently takes ceramics 3 and sculpture, (the equivalent of an independent study/ceramics 4) at SHS.
Sarah has also interned for several semesters for the department at SHS and works at Clay Time.
In spite of the inclement weather, over 60 people showed up for the opening.
The exhibit will be open to the public daily 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Saturday, March 1.
Shrewsbury Crossings, located at 311 Main St., offers assisted living and the Harbor Program of care for those with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments.
