Northborough – Jess Perkins, a senior at Shrewsbury High School, portrays Mary with Finn Trussell, 8 months, as Jesus in the Living Nativity presented the evening of Dec. 21 on the front lawn of the Church of the Nativity. The Spirit of Singers led gatherers in singing carols throughout the musical dramatization of the Christmas story. Afterward, live animals from the presentation were available for children to pet.

A reception with Christmas caroling and refreshments followed in the church hall.  Donations for the Northborough Food Pantry were collected. The unreasonably warm temperatures contributed to a very pleasant evening.
