Northborough – A fundraiser featuring Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman was held Jan. 4 at Algonquin Regional High School as part of the Boston Strong Classic USA Gymnastics Region VI meet. Raisman, a Needham, Mass. resident, signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans.

Raisman was the captain of the 2012 USA gymnastics team that captured the gold medal in the Olympic Games held in London. She also won an individual gold medal on the floor and a bronze medal on the balance beam.

Proceeds from the “Meet and Greet” with Raisman were to benefit the One Fund Boston.
