Northborough police warn of house break-ins

Northborough – Police Chief Mark Leahy released this statement this afternoon regarding a number of house break-ins that have occurred in the town:

In the past week we have responded to three daytime break-ins at homes in Northborough. The homes were on West, Church and Brigham Streets. All were clearly visible from the street. All three occurred between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and primarily involved the theft of jewelry and money. Force was used to enter all three homes.

Please be alert in your neighborhood. If you see a strange vehicle or person, call us right away using the 9-1-1 emergency number. Please do not assume that “it’s nothing”! If the incident is innocent, we’ll gladly apologize for any inconvenience. We need your eyes to help us stop this.

REPORT SUSPICIOUS INCIDENTS IMMEDIATELY!

THANK YOU!

 Contact Detective/Sergeant Brian Griffin at (508) 393-1522.
